A-UKFTA Certificate of Origin

A-UKFTA Rules of Origin (ROO) are used to determine the originating status of a good and the eligibility to claim preferential tariff treatment under the Agreement. 

A good shall be regarded as originating if it is:
(a) wholly obtained or produced in the territory of one or both of the Parties, as established in Article 4.3 (Wholly Obtained or Produced Goods);
(b) produced entirely in the territory of one or both of the Parties, exclusively from originating materials; or
(c) produced entirely in the territory of one or both of the Parties using non-originating materials, provided the good satisfies all applicable requirements of Annex 4B (Product-Specific Rules),

A-UKFTA Declaration of Origin is used to access the reduced tariff/duty rates on goods under Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement.

• Step 1: Complete the Exporter Information Form (CO4) to register your business with us.  
• Step 2: Send your completed form to exportdocs.cbd@businessaustralia.com
• Step 3: Once your form has been received and accepted, we will send you the A-UKFTA Declaration of Origin template with the corresponding instructions on how to complete the document.
