SPROUTING OPPORTUNITY WITH PARILLA FRESH
Pete Duncan is the General Manager of Parilla Fresh, a fresh sprouts manufacturer and distributor in Milperra, New South Wales. Operating for 35 years, Parilla Fresh supply sprouts to Woolworths, Coles, Harris Farm and independent supermarkets across the east coast of Australia, right down to Adelaide.
Parilla Fresh became the largest sprouting business in the country by investing in their quality systems, but Pete mentions their biggest challenge is making consumers aware of how to use sprouts.
That’s why Pete and Parilla Fresh have invested heavily in a new recipe-based website and social media presence to educate their customers on how to best use their product.
